Why I started?

My name is Caroline, and I’m a nurse with experience across paediatrics, aged care, general practice, and hospital settings. Throughout my time in the healthcare system, one thing has remained clear: the wellbeing of our patients is deeply connected to the wellbeing and collaboration of our healthcare professionals.

I’ve seen how critical it is for nurses and health professionals in and out of the community space to be connected. Not just for debriefing and emotional support, but for effective patient coordination, clinical learning, and shared advocacy. When health professionals are supported and working together, patient outcomes improve.

Since 2021, I’ve led 13 community health events across Australia and hosted 3 sold-out networking events for health professionals. While much of my work has focused on preventative health education for the public, it’s become increasingly clear: the people delivering care also need dedicated spaces for connection, growth, and support.

At Health Hatch, our mission is simple: take care of those who care for others. We do this by building spaces for nurses and health professionals to come together, whether that’s through clinical education, coordinated care discussions, wellbeing initiatives, or just a shared conversation over coffee.

We believe that when our health professionals are thriving, so is our community.

WHAT'S NEXT?

WHAT'S NEXT?

At Health Hatch, we’re building a sustainable platform rooted in research, meaningful connection, and a strong sense of community.

Right now, our focus is on growing monthly self-care events, not just to bring health professionals together, but to truly listen to what’s needed to keep them supported and thriving in the workforce.

Let’s be real: without well-supported health professionals, we can’t deliver the care our communities deserve.

Our recent survey made it clear—what our community is asking for is both personal and professional.

If you’re a health professional seeking connection, growth, and self-care you’re in the right place……this is just the beginning.
